“To see ourselves as others see us is a most salutary gift.” - Wrote Aldous Huxley “Hardly less important is the capacity to see others as they see themselves
Based on ancient philosophic traditions, the Enneagram is a tool that describes nine different characters. This will help you understand the personality types of yourself and others.
The Purpose – of the workshop is to work within the context of personal growth. It will help you discover your personality type and understand your motivations and avoidances in a deeper way.
Who is it for? – it is suitable for all who wish to investigate what makes them tick and what they avoid in their lives.
What happens? – We will be introducing the basic structure of the Enneagram and how that can help you in your professional and personal lives. Referring to the three Centres (Head, Heart and Gut) we will outline the 9 personality types that will lead you to gain more insight into yourself and others. The Wings on either side of your personality type influence your type and the direction of the arrows help you move from being stressed to being relaxed and healthy.
What kind of group? – the group work includes working alone and with others to discern what type you may be in the Enneagram.
We are running a follow on day, Going Deeper with the Enneagram on 28th June 2025
Facilitator:
Ros Borland and Robin Anker-Petersen

Ros Borland worked in film production for many years, moving up the ranks from runner to producer. She is now a playwright and screenwriter who uses the Enneagram for her character development.
Robin Anker- Petersen has worked with the Enneagram since the 1980s, using it in pastoral work to understand and help people as well as teaching it in the context of our Enneagram community here at The Bield. I am really looking forward to our days in 2025 introducing and consolidating understanding of the Enneagram.
